SOTO organic vegetable patties receive the Bavarian organic seal – the first patties to receive this award

This makes SOTO the first manufacturer to offer a patty with this seal of quality—a milestone in the convenience food sector and a clear sign of regional organic quality.

Strict requirements apply for the award of the Bavarian Organic Seal (BBS): a high proportion of the ingredients must come from Bavaria and the raw material suppliers must have their own certification. SOTO organic vegetable patties clearly meet these requirements: 88.6 percent of the ingredients come from Bavaria, 87.5 percent of which are already BBS-certified.

The introduction of the seal also marks the beginning of a visible change in product presentation: From December 10, 2025, a sticker with the Bavarian Organic Seal will be placed in the center of the consumer packaging, and the list of ingredients will include a corresponding note.

The 75g organic vegetable patties and the gently cooked organic mini vegetable patties from the SOTO frozen food service range also carry the Bavarian organic seal.

With the new seal, SOTO is sending a clear signal for transparency, regional value creation, and the highest organic quality, while at the same time strengthening its position as an innovative manufacturer of organic plant-based convenience foods.
